Spencer Pigot to Join SunTrust Youth Racing Program

Wayne Taylor and SunTrust Racing have selected talented 13-year old Spencer Pigot to join the SunTrust Youth Racing Program as he moves into the JICA karting category for 2007. Spencer is a Florida resident and a multiple National and State Champion, winning a total of 31 races in his short career.

The FirstKart.com Team driver is set to compete in the 2007 Florida Winter Tour and Snap-On Stars of Karting East and West Championships.

"Wayne approached me after my Stars of Karting win at Newcastle this year" stated Spencer during a visit to the PRI Show in Orlando. "I was very surprised and excited when he offered to sponsor me and invited me to join the SunTrust Youth Racing Program. To be associated with Wayne Taylor and SunTrust Bank at this point in my racing career is a great honor. I would like to take this opportunity to thank both Wayne and SunTrust for their offer of support, it means a lot to me and I hope to bring them and FirstKart some great results in my first year of JICA competition."
